Dr. Arun Narang fulfills the desires of his patients by designing customized, beautiful smiles.As a practicing dentist in Mississauga, he provides implant, cosmetic and restorative dentistry for his patients. He received his dental degree from the University of Toronto and is an active member of the Toronto Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and the International Congress of Oral Implantology. To keep up-to-date in the ever-changing world of dentistry, Dr. Narang attends various continuing education courses throughout the year.
Dr. Narang was an elected Executive Member of the Toronto Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (TACD) for 8 years and is now the Past President of the TACD. Dr. Narang currently sits on the board of the Professional Education Committee for the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD). He has authored numerous articles on the latest dental issues which have been published in the Mississauga News & Oakville Beaver and is the host of the “Smile File” on Rogers TV.
Dr. Narang is committed to aesthetic dentistry and has been working since 1984 to provide patients with the best that dentistry has to offer. He believes that restoring a person’s smile and therefore appearance can be a life enhancing experience. “The most important thing is to listen to your patients”, says Dr. Narang. “My goal is to help clients keep their smiles looking their very best and feeling their healthiest.”
Dr. Narang supports numerous charities including Operation Eyesight Universal and the Children’s Wish Foundation. He is also dedicated to assisting victims of domestic violence providing consultation and treatment to individuals who have sustained dental injury as a result of a violent domestic attack.
In his spare time, Dr. Narang enjoys spending time with his growing family. For recreation he enjoys golfing, playing racquet sports and travelling.
Dr. Edward Venerus graduated from the University of Toronto Dental program in 1992. Prior to this he earned his Honours Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacology with a Major in Physiology. He has been an integral part of the team for over 17 years.
Dr. Venerus is a member of the Ontario Dental Association, and the Toronto Crown & Bridge Study Club. He is constantly attending conventions, lectures and numerous seminars covering a wide array of topics; ranging from endodontics to cosmetics. He believes that continuing education is an essential part of doing modern dentistry.
Dr. Venerus shares his experience and skills as a part-time instructor at the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Toronto in both the Restorative Clinic and Oral Medicine Department.
Dr. Venerus enjoys the sense of accomplishment in helping people who are in pain become pain free and giving people who have always disliked their teeth the smile they’ve always wanted. He finds comprehensive dentistry the most rewarding, “It involves all aspects of dentistry from basic fillings and cleanings to the latest cosmetic or implant-related procedure, allowing me to take patients who are having pain or difficulty eating and not only correct that basic problem but then see them get a new sense of pride in their oral health and feel good about their smile.”
He enjoys participating in many sports, his favourites being: hockey, skiing, tennis, scuba diving, and recently dog sledding. He also enjoys travelling, reading and going to the movies.
Dr. Venerus is fluent in both English and Italian.
Dr. Patti graduated in the top 20% from New York University, College of Dentistry. Prior to that she completed an Honours Bachelor of Sciences from McMaster University and graduated summa cum laude with Dean’s distinction. While in NYU, Dr. Patti conducted individual research projects which impacted patient care. Her work was showcased at the 2015 Clinical & Educational Scholarship Showcase in New York.
Apart from academics, Dr. Patti is a member of the esteemed NYU Dean’s Torch Club – strictly chosen only through an invitation from the Dean of the College of Dentistry. A leader by example who continuously engages in self improvement, Dr. Patti frequently attends leadership retreats, team building seminars and business success conferences to constantly upgrade her knowledge.
Dr. Patti is a Member of the American Dental Association (ADA), Canadian Dental Association (CDA) and Ontario Dental Association (ODA), licensed to practice in both countries.
Dr. Patti states: “My love for dentistry stems from a desire to build confidence in my patients by giving them a reason to smile. Being able to positively influence their smile gives me personal gratification; while improving their oral and over-all health gives me professional satisfaction.”
Apart from Dentistry, Dr. Patti is an avid dancer having studied professional dance at Lori’s Dance Studio for 4 years ranging from styles of Latin, Hip Hop, Jazz, Lyrical and Musical Theater. She regularly engages in vinyasa yoga and fitness swimming.
Furthermore, Dr. Patti has a strong interest in creative writing. She has written poetry for several years, having had some of her work recognized by the American Academy of Poets and published in the Book called “Songs of Poetry”.
Dr. Patti loves working in a clinic that values hard work, dedication and ambition and hopes her passion for dentistry inspires her patients to want to educate themselves and create generations of healthy, radiant smiles!
